OUR APPROACH

Our Approach - ADDIE Model

ADDIE, an instructional systems design (ISD) framework, guides our design and development of learning solutions. Below are the five key phases that are core to our approach in working with clients.

A

Analysis

During the analysis phase, Innovative Global Learning Solutions LLC works with the client to understand the organization, its culture, goals and objectives, characteristics of the learners and the vision for the learning solution and its desired outcomes. If necessary, a needs analysis is be conducted with a random sample of learners to best understand their learner needs, existing knowledge, skills and gaps of the desired learning solution.

D

Design

After understanding the learners’ needs, in partnership with the client’s learning team, we create a curriculum map, outlining the learning objectives per course, content, instructional strategies/exercises and assessment instruments to assess learners’ progress and skill acquisition. For e-learning modules, a storyboard iscreated at this stage to outline the narration, content and interaction on screen.

D

Development

After the approval of the curriculum map by the client, we develop the course assets including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, PowerPoints, videos, audios, case studies, job aids and other materials. For e-learning, Storyline 360 or Rise 360 is the authoring tool to build the course.

I

Implementation

For the implementation of instructor-led or synchronous virtual webinars, we facilitate the course content as well as conduct a ToT if desired to train organizational trainers. For asynchronous e-learning courses, we conduct a final quality assurance (QA) on the course in the client’s LMS and work with the learning team to upload the course when requested.

E

Evaluation

Innovative Global Learning Solutions LLC works with the clients to assess the learners’ skills on the course content through the development of a course assessment as well as a 30-60-90 day evaluation to determine how they used their skills in their roles and their results.
